The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) and the American Contractors Supply (ACS) invited Beat the Streets National to the 5th Annual TCA Classic at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia. Friday, April 4, right outside of the city of Atlanta, attendants and sponsors gathered for a kickoff event where Beat the Streets National (BTSN) was presented with a generous gift of $10,000.
Executive Director James Mangan and Director of Operations Jon Guevara, were present to receive the gift and spent Thursday and Friday connecting with event participants on the mission of Beat the Streets. The received funds will support programs at BTSN.
The Tilt-Up Concrete Association partnered with BTSN in early 2024, creating a unique opportunity for TCA members to positively impact their communities through the sport of wrestling and workforce development. Last year, Mitch Bloomquist, Executive Director of the TCA, and TCA Members served as panelists during a Trade Career Panel for 400+ youth during the BTS National Camp and Duals in Boston. The opportunity allowed our student athletes to learn more about various promising career opportunities in the trades industry. The TCA’s strategic collaboration and support to BTSN is a testament to the TCA’s dedication to community service and workforce development!
