Beat the Streets student-athletes from grades 7th-12th, hailing from nine cities across North America, will meet in Boston for three days of camp and cultural experiences followed by the 2024 BTS National Duals. This event was largely created to promote the building and strengthening the BTS community among chapters, while also providing our student-athletes with an opportunity to travel and participate in friendly competition. Student-athletes from nine of the ten accredited chapters will enjoy three action-packed days of sightseeing, educational programming, high-level clinics taught by some of the country’s best elite wrestlers, and team-building exercises. The camp portion of the trip is then followed by a one-day tournament where the youth battle it out on the mat during a friendly competition. This exciting event is a community-building experience exclusively for Beat the Streets boys and girls. The goal is transformational for our wrestlers, most of whom live in under-resourced urban communities, with limited opportunity to travel, let alone travel to compete.

While providing a safe and meaningful experience, all of the athletes are excited to represent their chapters and mingle with youth from other cities; some of whom form lifelong bonds in just a matter of days.

This experience was made possible in large part to ASICS, our event sponsor who will match $25,000 of donations our donors generously gave. Our support from each one of our donors sends a powerful and meaningful message – the Beat the Streets community believes that our young wrestlers from around the country deserve dedicated opportunities to enjoy the ultimate athletic experience of traveling to represent, compete, and develop meaningful bonds with new teammates and advocates.
