It is the opportunity to support an incredible initiative like Gear Up, which provides NEW gear to student-athletes from underserved communities across the US. It allows one wrestling fan to win a trip for two to the NCAA D1 Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia. Who wouldn’t want to do that?!” explained Gina Perry, the Director of Development & Communications at Beat the Streets National.
The Ultimate Fan Competition allows wrestling fans to compete for the grand prize of two all-session tickets to the D1 NCAA Wrestling Championships, airfare and hotel + so much more. Every contestant will walk away with BTS “swag,” with the potential to earn memorabilia and one-of-a-kind experiences even if they are not the grand prize winner. Contestants will register or nominate a contestant before September 5th for their chance to participate. On September 7th the official competition will begin when each wrestling fan will have to rally for votes to earn weekly prizes and ultimately the grand prize on October 27th.
All prizes have been donated by individual sponsors. 100% of the funds raised through the Ultimate Wrestling Fan Competition will be used to provide new gear for BTS student-athletes across the nation, thanks to our generous sponsors at Gear2Compete and ASICS.
